Incense Galore was started in the mid to late 1990's by Robert Carle. At that time he was living in California, and saw a market for quality fresh incense. Over the next couple of years he developed a wholesale trade with local merchants, and he sought out ways to make his incense better than any other. Eventually, he developed a process for manufacturing the incense that is made by his company today, and that process remains a closely guarded trade secret.

Their incense burns clean, and it produces a rich aroma that will last for hours. There isn't any of that black sooty smoke when you light their sticks. They always produce a white smoke that is rich in aroma. Their incense is made fresh, so when you receive a package the first thing you will notice is the aroma. And you will also notice that the sticks are wet. That's perfectly OK. The incense is always drained before packing, but some oils are heavier and will drain slower, so some accumulation may occur in the package. Their incense will stay fresh for up to a year if it is kept sealed and out of direct heat or sunlight. Many customers are known to stock up for the winter, knowing that the incense will still be fresh when spring arrives.

Around 2001-02 years the business changed to also include a retail outlet, through the internet only. The sites presence on the web had been vastly improved since then. In 2006 the ownership of the company was formally changed, and an LLC was formed around the business. Late in 2006 the company was able to expanded their incense production facility, and began to take other steps to deal issues arising from a change to the management of the company. For all of the changes, the standard of excellence for their incense has never been compromised.
